Educational platform for the global, music community. Pre-launch stage.
Solidarity in Sound (SIS) is a Toronto-based education platform for the music community - we focus on equipping womxn & non-binary folks with the tools and resources that will advance their careers in the music industry. We throw events and workshops, host a monthly radio show, and run a blog series titled “Herstory.”
ON ISO RADIO
Tune in to the SIS show on ISO Radio, Toronto’s latest community radio station.
A monthly show hosted & curated by Sam & Cam of Solidarity in Sound (SIS). Expect to hear takes on gender & music (past, present, future), genre-fluid music selections, and interviews with our industry's changemakers.
EARBUDS is a workshop series that Solidarity in Sound runs in collaboration with Biblioteka Records and Epilogue Audio Recording & Processing Studio.
Together, they facilitate learning & teaching opportunities that relate to the world of audio. This series makes a point to book womxn & non-binary folks for teaching roles - to ensure that this community is seen as thought leaders and experts in their field.

Insights from the SIS survey will be used to create a series of educational videos. The series will offer strategies for navigating the barriers that are unique to our community.
Every survey response increases the chance of SIS being successful. We know you're busy so we kept it short, only takes 6 mins!
