For The Record FINAL DRAFT (1).png

On Sunday, March 10th, in honour of International Women’s Day, Solidarity in Sound invites creative minds from the entertainment industry to join in a day-long creative ideation session centered around artist discovery.

Open to anyone with an interest in music, SIS will pose the question:

How can we recreate the artist discovery experience to champion gender diversity?

Teams will brainstorm solutions and tools to help solve this problem. At the end of the day, pitches will be judged by industry leaders, Dalton Higgins, LU KALA, and Tao-Ming Lau of Blue Crane Agency.

The winning solution will be developed with the help of SIS. Winners will walk away with access to SIS resources plus prizes from contributing partners. One team of five will win a grand prize valued at $500.

The day will consist of:

  • Personalized networking experience

  • Interactive activation rooms

  • Feedback and discussions with top industry professionals

  • Product and gift bags from SIS partners
